Natalie & Brett

Today I did an engagement session with an awesome couple. Natalie and Brett are so down to earth, and I love that they were open to my ideas and gave me creative control.

Great "Blue Steel" look.

These guys are truly in love. There's nothing better than photographing a couple who is just so natural and happy together. You can't fake that in front of the lens.

Calen's Big Day

Well the weddings are slowing down from a very busy season! This Saturday was a big day for my son, Calen as well as for me (no wedding). Calen got his first haircut and his first pair of big boy shoes. I got to spend alot of time with the family this weekend. Enjoy the photos!

Calen looking as cute as ever!
My boy always gets this look on him when something is about to happen!

Dad where are we going today?
Haircut Day - Calen's 1st Haircut, Thank God! That mullet was getting way too long.
Yeah we know - If Calen gets something we better get it for the one and only Avery!
Me and my boy
Gotta love the Hallmark Christmas singy things. Avery especially likes making them sing together....ALL FIVE OF THEM AT ONCE!!!! The staff at the salon might hide these things next time we come in.

Next was the shoe store for Calen's first pair of shoes - "What kind of trouble can I get into here?"The Shoes

Is there any candy in here?
This toy was just brought up from the basement today. Why do we even spend mondy on new toys? Calen thought it was brand new and loved it!
My cute little wife. She hates when I stick the camera in her face, so she makes all kinds of weird faces thinking I won't post them on the blog. Not so.

Anti-Workshop Bride

Just wanted to show a little of the work we did in Austin, TX last week. We couldn't have asked for a better bride - I can only image what it feels like to have 4 or 5 cameras on you at once.

Jessica & David

Wow - I knew this would be a great day. You know there is something to be said about being behind the lens. It is amazing what you can see. You can really tell who is truly in love and that is all I could see Saturday night. Jess and David, thank you for letting me be part of your wedding day!

Anti-Workshop Recap

I just flew in from Austin, TX where Chenin & Doug Boutwell of Boutwell Studios, and Dalisa & John Michael Cooper of AltF Studios hosted the Anti-Workshop of Photography!! I have to say that I was humbled at the talent that was at this workshop! I will go into detail later on, I must catch up with work first!
