Who are you? - Andrea Deschaine

Photo by the amazing Josie Kern

My Name
Andrea Deschaine

I am from
Branches & Twigs Leawood, Kansas

A vendor(s) that we should know about
Kim Ho with You’re Invited. This is one organized lady! I also have two favorite cake ladies – Phyllis Hildebrant and Michelle Rice with Iced Art.

My favorite date -
Dinner alone with my husband at J.Alexander’s or Carmen’s!

When I am bored you’ll find me -
I Play with barbies, polly pockets or Littlest Pet shop with my 2 daughters or if I have a sitter, shopping all by myself!

You should check out
Microdermabrasion. It’s my new favorite thing to do!

One or two websites you should check out -
Mine of course, just kidding, I love copykat.com You can find all of the recipes for your favorite dishes from restaurants locally and nationally.

Something you can not live without
I absolutely cannot live without chocolate or coffee. I don’t drink coffee all day, just one cup in the morning. Now chocolate is a different story.

Music that I listen to
I like anything that sounds like it’s just a guy with a guitar. I like Jon Mayer. I like Johnny Cash. I also love Dwight Yoakam and Jack Johnson. I also like Michael Buble!

3 things I must do before I get old
Travel the United States. I want to see Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, and all of the hokey tourist attractions along the way! I have thought and thought about this question and cannot seem to come up with anything else but traveling, so I guess I need a vacation!

What would your friends or family say about you
My friends would say that I am crazy (for taking on so many things at once) and my family would probably agree. I guess I just think better with 2 million things going on at once!

Perfect Client
Someone who has one great idea or vision, but then let’s me run with it. They are by far the most pleased with my work!

The part of my business that leaves me tired
Nothing really, except September and October. They are my busiest months and come November, I need to rest.

The part of the business that I love
I truly think that I love it all. I’d say the obvious drawback is working too many Saturdays, but everything else makes it so worth it! I feel like I get paid to do something fun!

If not a florist, I would have been
A stay at home mom in need of a major creative outlet, so I would probably be a scrapbooking queen or something!

On a Friday night at 8 PM you'll find me -
Watching movies and eating popcorn with my family.

Something I'm proud of
My daughters. They are more amazing and precious than anything on this earth
.
