This is best family date! We started out the night at Fritz's in Crown Center. This place serves the best hot dogs in town, plus it's super fun. For anyone who's never been there before......you place your order by the telephone located at your table, and then your food is delivered by choo choo trains that run through the entire restaurant on tracks above the tables. Of course, to get the full experience, you must wear the super stylish train conductor hats they provide you with. The next stop was the ice rink. Avery had her first chance to see what it is like to ice skate. She LOVED it! In fact, she learned how to walk perfectly on those little ice skates in like 5 minutes! Maybe we have a future olympic skater in our family. Enjoy stepping into our world for a second or two with the photos that follow.
Avery on the ice for the first time
Our little professional "skate walker".
I don't know who was more nervous..... me or Avery. Wait a minute...Avery and nervous don't ever go together in the same sentence.
Another one of those photos that just made me think about how fast they grow up. By the way, I can't take credit for this one. My lovely wife took it (actually, she took most of these). I have been trying to get her to shoot more!
....Again TRYING to skate
Daddy's feet and ankles got tired and sore waaaaaaayyyy before Avery was ready to leave the ice.
What just touched my leg?
Whassup homey....
How cute is our little man?!? He hates hats.

PWL
Okay I have been getting alot of questions about painting with light - So instead of explaining what it is I will show in the next 3 photos. I am trying a new way of doing some of my portraits. It is a fun way to use the light. Well here you go!
