"Who Are You" - Bruce Snell

Bruce Snell

I want to take a break from the 4 photographers that I met in Atlantic City and introduce you to a good friend/colleague ...Bruce Snell! I know Bruce had heard this a lot in the time that we have known each other...but this is the man that made me want to become a wedding photographer! Although I have been shooting for about 13 years, when I started this business 4+ years ago (weddings) I had no one to turn to to ask advise on curtain things. That was true until I met Bruce, I would send email after email asking him questions on (now that I look back at it) the most stupid stuff that I could think of....he never said "I do not have time" or "Go climb a tree kid" He just answered them! I know I have said this to you before but...THANK-YOU! Anyone that gets a chance to work with Bruce either it being a wedding or just shooting for fun. You need to feel very lucky to have done so!

Take it away Bruce....

I met Dez in the Taj Mahal casino the same time I met Leslie at the DWFU Workshop in Atlantic City, NJ. Desiree is a very talented wedding and portrait photographer from the New Jersey area. The best things about Desiree are she is honest, caring, beautiful and guys "psst" she's single and LOVES baseball!!!!

So it is time for me to stop talking and say hello to my little friend...

Who are you? - Leslie Gilbert

I have been doing these "Who are you" for quite sometime now. The next four of them are going to be really special. I had the opportunity to spend a week with some of the best in my field and the very first night I got to meet these four photographers - Leslie Gilbert, Desiree Martin del Campo , Mark Gardner and Don Mears. I met a lot of great photographers last week that I will now call my friends for life. These four welcomed me in like they knew me for years. I did not put them in any order (it was whoever sent me everything first)! So now I want to introduce you to the first photographer I met, Leslie Gilbert. I met Leslie walking in from the Taj Mahal parking garage on our way into the hotel. Tiny little thing...but man when she gets behind a camera, look out!! Here's a little story then I will stop talking! I have this game I like to play (really I like to play with peoples heads). It is called "5 feet". You have 2 photographers go head to head in a invisible box of 5 feet long and 5 feet wide. Doesn't matter where the first photographer shoots, the other photographer needs to shoot in that same area. Well, we had 3 photographers going up against each other and Leslie was the model (the shots of Leslie below were my shots of the game). When we were done, she said she wanted a try. Keep in mind that you are only suppose to take 15 shots in the game...SHE TOOK ONE AND NAILED IT!!!!!

So I want you to sit back and enjoy the interview with miss Leslie Gilbert....

I needed a break!

Well we have just gone through the busiest wedding season (spring) in Domingues Photography history! I have decided to take a few days off to visit with my mom who flew in from Rhode Island this morning. If you need to reach me I will be here at the studio to answer phone calls and emails! Amy and Mike your in the editing room as we speak and Miranda and Ryan you are on deck! I have the greatest clients on earth and i know that we are all excited to see our images! For the time being I just posted some of the images I took last week at our workshop! This was part of our Trash the Dress Session on Tuesday night! If you are wanting to do something like this, please contact us - we are getting a lot of interest in this session! Do not let the phrase scare you, it is just a buzz word that is thrown around. Those who do not know me...I really really like playing in fountains (water will not damage a dress).

Just a few...
