So my teams are having a very good year. Bo-Sox win the World Series! Celtics are on a rampage! Now my Pats have a good chance tonight to break the all time record with 16 wins. Sorry Desiree, I think it is going to be ugly!

Avery and I tracked Santa for about 20 min tonight on NORAD's site. Avery was very excited to get to bed after we found out the next stop for Santa was the United States! (FYI...my lovely wife took these great shots).

My biggest fan...

Ok everyone. I wasn't going to post this but I changed my mind. I want you all to meet someone very important in my life. This is my stalker.....my biggest fan. This person loves to leave negative comments on my post...about me and my clients and doesn't seem to have much else to do, as he/she spends so much time posting comments on my blog.


Here is the last comment that this anonymous person left - word for word. I thought I would reply to all the comments in the post.

"you are so completely fake i cant stand." - (Then sit down) you act like youre not competitive, but you in fact are. - (Yes, I am very competitive) you are scheming and unprofessional and not a natural artist. - (then why am I making a good living at what I do?) you copy and follow. - (only to learn from those better than me) get a different job!! - (Nah, I love what I do, and my clients are some of my best friends. I can't imagine you have a job since you spend so much time on my website. Oh wait, studying my site IS your full time job. I sure hope you learn something about photography. And a lesson or two in kindness wouldn't hurt either. :) )

I don't like to post negative comments about anyone, but this person really wants to be on my blog. So here you go stalker person. Your five minutes of fame!

Good Friends!

I had dinner with some really good friends last night Heather Cole and the boys over there at Lemon Lime (Eric & Neal). There is really no point to this post! In the very competitive industry of wedding photography, it is really nice to see that we all can still be really good friends and share ideas. This has to be the best job on earth!

For those of you who are regular readers, you know that I do not type a lot. However, I had to say something about this wedding. ALL of my clients mean a lot to me. So when I say that this couple gets the "Wedding of the Year" award, I don't want to get phone call after phone call from my other brides ready to tear my head off. There is a reason for the award...read on. The award goes to Tessa & Tobias because no matter what - this couple was going to get married Saturday!

Well, the week started off with a horrible ice storm that hit Kansas and the surrounding states knocking out the power to over half of the state. The state doesn't know when the power will be restored to some of the towns that it affected, but the wedding had to go on. Saturday came and the entire town was still in the dark. And of course, to make matters worse, Mother Nature decided to dump 4-5 inches on the wedding. Oh yeah, did I mention the wedding was OUTSIDE in a tent?

This is the reason I have awarded the "Wedding of the Year" to Tessa & Tobias. They are so in love and were determined to get married all challenges aside.
