Pay It Forward
We had the chance (for the first time ever) to have our family photo taken by John Michael and Dalisa Cooper of AltF Photography. We were honored, not only because of getting to work with the Coopers, but it was a chance to be part of a movement that was started by David Williams and his Pay It Forward program.
So in a nut shell here it is....
So many of us photographers are always taking the images but are never in them. When our family was asked to be part of this I went back and looked through all of our family images and it was true. I was in one of the images with the kids and Allison was in images with the kids, but there were NONE with our whole family. This was the first time we were ALL going to be in an image together.
So here is the deal....
I want to photograph 3 "photographer" families at no charge. 1 family is already spoken for so there are 2 spots left. *edit* One spot left!!!!!
*edit* We are now all booked up.
Here is the Deal (and rules)...
To qualify, you need to:
1) Be a photographer.
2) Have not had your "family" (you included) portrait taken in the last year.
3) Be willing to photograph at least 1 photographer family with in 30 days of the shoot (I will follow up Hee Hee)
4) Come as you are. What you dress in everyday.
5) All be connected in one way or another in the image (touching of some sort)
I am not having a contest on who gets in, I will not be voting on who makes it or not. First 2 photographer families that contact me will get the photoshoot. It is open to anybody that wants to travel here too. It will be only a 15-20 min. session.

Well rested and glad to be home....
I think this is going to be the longest post I have ever created? I had a chance to take a break and fly
out to hang out with some really good friends of mine this past week. Between opening the studio, shooting
weddings and trying to be a father and husband - it was time to jump on a plane and hang out with some friends
for a while.
This is what I needed. I am really excited about this year and the new things we have in store for the
studio. Here is the week in photos...enjoy!
